A Birth Announcement, SOL#7

Introducing!

Crocus Vernus

On Monday, March 7th, Lafayette Park welcomed their newest addition the family.

Tracy Brosch was quoted as saying, "It's official!  Crocus has arrived."  It seemed as if she had been waiting patiently for the arrival of this beauty and inspected it thoroughly.  It appeared her dogs nodded in unison and baby Crocus also passed the elusive sniff test.

Name:  Crocus OMFG It's Almost Spring Vernus

Birth date:  Unknown, though discovered 3/7/22

Weight:  .300 ounces

Length:  5 inches

Location:  corner entrance, Lafayette Square Park *(an entrance we never use, but delightfully, it was street cleaning day and had to park outside of our normal spot by the trash can where we always park because Venus always, always poops immediately)

Time:  8:00 AM Central

Tracy continued to spout quotes about this discovered bundle of joy.

  • "Ten little petals, ten perfect stems, fill our hearts with love that overflows."
  • "If I am thinking correctly, some new weather is probably, undoubtedly the grandest gift that could ever be."
  • "Every spring begins the world again."

Welcome to the world, Crocus Vernus!  The wait is finally over!  We're thrilled to welcome you.
