In advance, apologies for this long email.  Several of us have had previous conversations around this idea, and I'm bringing us all together to move forward in planning.

Last year's school year kick-off event held at 9 Mile Garden was pretty successful.  Several of you have expressed that you like the idea of some type of reunion this summer.  

We already have an advanced SI on the calendar from June 27-30.  The only plans so far are to include a writing marathon.

My thoughts are that we go for two 'events'  We can plan anything we want to happen within the advanced SI dates and we can also plan a reunion/kick-off date in late July or early August so that this year's new TCs can also be invited.
